Native History

The Squilax Pow Wow Grounds, across from the Little Shuswap River, is the site for the Squilax Pow Wow. This July event includes a competition of more than four hundred dancers from Western Canada and the United States.

The RJ Haney Heritage Park & Salmon Arm Museum are part of a forty-acre heritage village. The original relocated buildings include a schoolhouse, church, blacksmith shop and more. During July and August you can enjoy Dinner Theatre at this historic site..
