Boating
With more than 1,000 Kilometres of shoreline, the branches of the Shuswap Lake system are a paradise for boaters. If you do not have a boat of your own, consider renting a houseboat, joining a charter tour, or taking a sailboat cruise at sunset. For the more adventurous, try white-water rafting down the Adams River.
With more than twenty lakes, rivers, and creeks, this area boasts an abundance and variety of fish to challenge the novice or the advanced angler.
Golfing
If golf is your game, you have come to the right spot. Excellent courses abound in Anglemont, Eagle River, Mara Lake, Salmon Arm, Shuswap Lake Estates and the newly opened Talking Rock Course on Little Shuswap Lake. Children are bound to enjoy the “Family Fun Centre” in Scotch Creek, offering two courses of mini-golf.
Hiking
At Rock Ridge Haig-Brown Provincial Park you will find great hiking trails. Albas Falls and St. Ives are only a short hike or boat ride away.
